Pre-Fabricated Orthotics

Premade Orthotics

The market is getting flooded with Premade or Prefabricated Foot Orthotics. Purchasing a pair on your own is like playing roulette with your money and time.

Many claim to be “Clinically Proven” for certain conditions. Be aware that this does not mean it may relieve your condition.  As individuals are not the same, neither are your feet.  What may of helped one person may not be the optimal pair for you.

Think of premade orthotics as an over the counter pair of glasses.  If you find a pair that helps you. it is in the right direction of the corrections or alignment your feet need to reduce stress, strain and pain. If it is not in the direction of correction you need, then it may not help you. Either way, over the counter devices do not provide the maximum correction that can be available with custom prescriptive devices. Be sure to get the pair that bests matches not only your feet, but your needs.

At ArchMasters, we carry over a dozen different types of premade orthotics. We know from education but also clinical experience, which type will most likely help your feet. We take the time to listen to your problem, determine your foot type and gait and then can guide you to the two best that will most likely help. Then, you can try each on and walk down our concrete gait-way so you will be able to then tell which feels the most natural and helpful.

Not everyone should be wearing the same pre-made orthotic!

Pre-made, Top-Of-The-Line QuadraStep Orthotics

These pre-fabricated orthotics are designed to align your feet leading to maximum function, performance and relief. The Quadra steps system is the most biomechanically advanced pre-made orthotic individually designed for the individuals foot type. It is one step below a custom-made orthotic.  Dr. David Sables sometimes utilizes the QuadraStep when he determines the patient can benefit from the system without going to custom orthotics.

Pre-made Ankle Foot Orthotics and Splints

Many types of pre-made ankle foot orthotics (AFO’S) are coming on the market. Not only from improved research applications but also due to insurance cost demands. Some are very good and can actually help probably just as much as a custom one. At ArchMasters, we can help you save money by evaluating if a pre-made brace is all you need.  If not, we can then provide a custom brace for you.

Whether you have drop foot, polio or whatever your need, from children to adult ankle foot orthotics can be provided.

A favorite of ours is the Noodle AFO. This is a sleek and lightweight device that aids dropfoot ambulation. We can also provide a custom footbed to this device for even more comfort, stability and even walking.

ArchMasters carries Pre-Fabricated Orthotics which offer more support than over-the-counter insoles.
